Usually placed in Brachiosaurus, but there are no shared derived traits between Brachiosaurus altithorax (the type species) and Giraffatitan brancai to support this placement.
Giraffatitan‘s nasal crest is the highest one known for sauropods. It was also one of the largest sauropods.
